How I help . . .

I work to demystify the complex world of tax to help clients reach their goals. My favorite part of working with clients is building personal relationships with them, listening to their needs and building solutions together.

I was inspired to pursue a career in accounting after working as a bookkeeper for a local business in high school. My experience in the accounting profession has provided me with a wide array of opportunities, the chance to expand my knowledge through continual learning and the ability to have a meaningful impact.

Q&A with Susan

What does above + beyond mean to you?
It means exceeding expectations and going the extra mile for the client.
Do you have any specialized skills outside of work?
I have a motorcycle license and assist my husband in his powersports business.
What are some of your favorite things?
I am a huge music lover, so it depends on the day. Pandora is for sure my friend during busy season! When it comes to reading, lately I've been focusing on team building, leadership and organizational development. I also enjoy reading about technology disruption.
What inspires you?
Our clients inspire me. Watching them work through challenges, take on risks and grow in their successes is a privilege.
What is your family like and what are some things you like to do together?
My family and I all like to ride ATVs and motorcycles. We also like all kinds of sports. Some kind of game or motorsports race is usually what is on the TV in our house.
