Q&A with Rusty

What does above+beyond mean to you?
It means putting in extra effort, showing exceptional commitment and delivering results that stand out.
What does being a strategic ally mean to you?
It means understanding the big picture and working closely with others to provide valuable insights, resources and support. A strategic ally goes beyond just providing services; they collaborate, anticipate needs and offer guidance to help navigate challenges and seize opportunities.
What are you most proud of any why?
In short, my family. They successfully tackle challenges every day in pursuit of their goals, whether it be my wife crushing medical school and excelling in residency, my eight-year-old son facing competitors at Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournaments or the excitement my two-year-old daughter exudes when she sings her ABCs.
What does your typical day look like?
It varies by day and time of year. In general, I am up between 5-6 a.m. to either hit the gym or help get the kids ready for the day. I typically get to my desk around 7:30 a.m. to start the day. I try to stop working around 5:30 p.m. to have dinner with my family and spend time with them before the kids go to bed. If needed, I will work a little more in the evening.
What do you enjoy most about your work at Adams Brown?
Being part of an outstanding team that works together to solve complex issues clients face.
