How I help . . .

I’m passionate about providing business owners with the tools they need and want to make good decisions. Our business clients have entrusted us to help them with not only their business, but a huge part of their and their family’s identity. Helping them continue to be successful is a responsibility I don’t take lightly.

Whether it’s providing business valuation services to aid in transitioning to the next generation, a cost segregation study to maximize cash flow after a business expansion — when cash is at a premium — or providing my tax expertise during a complex business transaction, I get the most satisfaction out of these types of projects. Yes, I can prepare tax returns and prepare them very well, but the opportunity to provide value in other ways is the reason I’m excited to come to work every day.

Q&A with Leslie

What does above + beyond mean to you?
Providing more than just your tax return, I want to be a valuable member of your team to help you reach your goals.
What does being a strategic ally mean to you?
Being proactive, instead of reactive. Keeping you informed of potential problems before they happen and providing solutions.
What are some of your favorite things?
My favorite local restaurant is Meddys, which is always fresh and delicious as well as being locally owned. For music, I’m a big fan of Adele and her soulful voice. When I read, I like a variety of genres but tend to gravitate towards biographies and sports. My fiction choices are John Grisham thriller types.
What type of sports are you good at?
I played golf for a small NAIA college in Kansas all four years, and I enjoy playing softball on a coed rec team on Sundays 3 seasons out of the year.
What is your family like and what are some things you like to do together?
I attend all of my nephews’ activities and sporting events and have lunch with my mom every Saturday. We like having family dinners together and enjoying good food and each other’s company.
