For the fourth consecutive year, Adams Brown made Accounting Today’s annual ranking of the Top Firms in the Midwest. Additionally, the firm was added to the Firms to Watch list, a new honor this year.

Adams Brown’s growth rate is attributed to the acquisition of Wichita-based Fortner & Short, LLC in November of 2021 and the acquisition of Overland-Park based Kane, Mitchell & Co., LLC in December of 2021. The firm also pivoted to provide new accounting, advisory, and consulting services to business owners to help them maximize COVID-19 federal relief programs, including PPP and the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC).
