Summer Interns Give Back to the Community
At Adams Brown, we believe in going above+beyond not only for our clients but also for our community. This summer, our interns had the incredible opportunity to roll up their sleeves and make a real difference at the local Salvation Army’s new Recovery Home.
The Recovery Home is a place for those battling addiction, offering a safe haven where they can sleep, eat and focus on their recovery journey. Preparing this facility for its Open House was no small task, but our interns rose to the challenge with enthusiasm and dedication.
A Day of Hard Work & Heartfelt Service
From the moment they arrived, our interns were ready to dive into a variety of tasks. Food preparation was at the top of the list, and our team got busy making finger sandwiches, appetizers and desserts.
Beyond the kitchen, our interns worked to ensure every room was welcoming and comfortable. They made beds, scrubbed refrigerators and freezers, washed shelves and organized the pantry.
While the day was filled with hard work, it was also an opportunity for our interns to bond and learn the importance of teamwork and community service.
For those considering an internship at Adams Brown, experiences like Intern Day 2024 highlight the unique opportunities we offer beyond the office. Our interns don’t just learn about accounting or audits; they also learn about compassion, leadership and the power of giving back.
If you’re looking for an internship where you can grow professionally while making a meaningful impact in your community, consider joining the Adams Brown team.
