Pave the Way for Your Future in Accounting

As the 2025 busy season comes to a close, we want to extend our gratitude to the incredible group of interns who joined us at Adams Brown. Over the past few months, they’ve immersed themselves in real-world accounting, embraced new challenges and helped our teams deliver exceptional client service.

Below are photos and brief profiles of these talented individuals—future accounting leaders.

I’m excited about gaining hands-on experience and learning from people who are really skilled in the field. I’ve enjoyed diving into new challenges, building my skills and seeing how everything works in a real-world setting. – Savanna Wellbrock, Tax Intern

Beyond the Classroom

From compiling tax returns to assisting with accounting and audit, our interns tackled a variety of tasks that pushed them beyond what most students experience in a classroom. They learned firsthand how dynamic and fast-paced life at a Top CPA firm can be, all while providing valuable support to our accountants and advisors.

I am most excited about learning and growing as a person along with workplace skills. I have learned so much about accounting and what it all entails. Not only do we learn the skill set of accountants, but we also learn how to maintain a positive work-life balance. -Addy Mason, Tax Intern

Key Takeaways from Their Time:

  • Real-World Application: They put their academic knowledge to work on genuine client projects.

  • Adaptability & Growth: They juggled multiple deadlines and took on new responsibilities, demonstrating resilience and professionalism.

The Adams Brown Culture in Action

As always, our mentors played an important role—offering guidance, advice and encouragement to help these emerging professionals navigate a busy season. Whether they were explaining a complex tax scenario or walking interns through an accounting procedure, Adams Brown mentors showed that collaboration and open communication are at the heart of the firm.

In return, our interns brought fresh perspectives, a thirst for knowledge and plenty of enthusiasm. Their questions, ideas and willingness to learn inspired us to rethink the way we approach our work. It’s a testament to the mutual growth that happens when we welcome new voices into the firm.

Through our internship program, accountingCASaudittaxwealth management and IT students get practical, on-the-job experience, as well as an opportunity to assess their interest in a career path with our firm. Many interns continue on with the firm as student workers and then assume full-time positions after graduation. Find Adams Brown on Handshake.
